The 2025 Milan Design Week has come to a close—the most creative, crowded, and chaotic week for Milan, but also the most eagerly anticipated. The Brera Design District, now in its sixteenth year, was packed with visitors from around the world from early morning, all on a continuous treasure hunt. They explored, photographed, and patiently waited in the inevitable long lines. Events of all scales came to life in expansive exhibition spaces, open courtyards, and temporary pop-ups that energized the neighborhoods, sometimes even hiding in private homes that were transformed into showcases of creativity and originality. A constant buzz in search of the perfect selfie, exclusive gadget, and unique experience.

La Marzocco and Accademia del Caffè Espresso worked in close synergy—both in setting up the spaces and in preparing the events and products presented. At the La Marzocco Café pop-up in Corso Garibaldi, custom-made machines by Officine Fratelli Bambi were on display—symbols of craftsmanship and design—as well as two exclusive espresso machine models: “Porsche x La Marzocco Linea Micra,” paired with the “La Marzocco Pico” grinder. These two limited editions embody and celebrate the values of the two historic brands.

At the Modbar Espresso Atelier, the Accademia Coffee Team was on hand, whose knowledge and expertise enhanced the performance of the Modbar. It captivated visitors not only with its elegant and sophisticated lines but also with its in-cup quality.

The participation of roasters, brands, and guest partners allowed for the creation of an immersive and versatile brewing journey—from breakfast to tastings to aperitivos—engaging the public in experiences of the highest quality.

Lastly, the La Marzocco x House of Negroni newsstand in Corso Garibaldi seamlessly blended coffee culture and cocktail artistry. It featured a creation by Salvatore Calabrese, world-renowned and award-winning bartender: the “Negroni Svegliato.” A customized Linea Mini machine, with a sophisticated finish inspired by HON, worked non-stop, serving espresso and Negroni Svegliato to a crowd of curious guests, enthusiasts, and friends who waited patiently despite the long lines.

La Marzocco also partnered with other venues across Milan: cafés, pop-up shops, and temporary showrooms, each defined by a unique blend of design, culture, and creativity.

It was the result of a long preparation for an intense, full-immersion week that undoubtedly required a high dose of caffeine to keep pace with the whirlwind of installations, music, signature cocktails, and innovative concepts that brought together artists, designers, and architects from around the globe. For Accademia and La Marzocco, it was yet another unforgettable experience.
